Overview
Vocab Studio is designed to provide visual English vocabulary learning while minimizing the collection of personal data. The app does not require users to create an account.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Vocab Studio.
Data We Do Not Collect
Vocab Studio does not collect or sell:
- Your name, address, or phone number
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, photos, videos, or microphone recordings
- Advertising identifiers
- Browsing history
- Health or financial information
The app does not contain third-party advertising, tracking technologies, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Learning Progress and Preferences
Learning progress, quiz results, study streaks, downloaded content status, language selections, and app preferences are stored locally on your device.
When iCloud is available, limited learning progress and settings may be synchronized between your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud key-value storage service. Vocab Studio does not operate the iCloud service and the app developer does not have direct access to your iCloud account or synchronized records.
iCloud data is handled by Apple according to Apple's Privacy Policy .
Subscriptions and Purchases
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Vocab Studio checks the status of your subscription using Apple's StoreKit services.
The app developer does not receive your complete payment-card information. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's privacy policies and applicable App Store terms.
Content Downloads
Vocab Studio may connect to Apple services to download or update vocabulary content, images, and pronunciation audio. The developer does not use these downloads to create an advertising profile or track you across apps or websites.
Diagnostic Information
Vocab Studio may create diagnostic records locally on your device to help identify content-loading or technical issues. These records are not automatically transmitted to the developer.
Diagnostic information is shared only when you deliberately export and send it while requesting support.
Customer Support
If you contact Vocab Studio Support by email, the email address, message, and information you voluntarily provide will be used only to investigate and respond to your request.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, or other sensitive personal information.
Children's Privacy
Vocab Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not include public profiles, messaging, social networking, or behavioral advertising.
A parent or guardian who believes that a child has provided personal information through a support request may contact us to request its deletion.
Data Retention and Control
Local app information remains on the device until it is removed by the user, the app is deleted, or the device is reset. Information synchronized through iCloud is controlled through the user's Apple account and device settings.
Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request and maintain appropriate support records.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Vocab Studio's features or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
